![]() There are people who managed to emulate the functions of the MotionPlus to a set of Joy-Cons using the Dolphin emulator for the Wii. Luckily, the world of emulation may have provided the answer. The level of movement used in Skyward Sword might be too much for the Joy-Cons to handle. Anyone who has played Ring-Fit Adventure knows that the Joy-Cons can handle a range of movements, but only in a broad sense. The Switch could easily handle an HD revamp of Skyward Sword in terms of graphics and sound, but there is an issue involving the Joy-Cons, as their movements aren't as precise as the MotionPlus. Fans are expecting Skyward Sword to be remastered for the Switch in the future, but there are issues regarding the hardware. Twilight Princess and the Wind Waker received HD remasters for the Wii U, while Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask were updated for the 3DS. The Wii MotionPlus plugged into the bottom of the Wiimote and it offered a greater range of movements. Skyward Sword was released for the Nintendo Wii in 2011 and it was one of the few games on the system that required the use of the Wii MotionPlus accessory. There is clearly an audience for an HD remaster of Skyward Sword, but the question we have to ask ourselves is whether the game can even work on the Switch. ![]() ![]() There are many fans of The Legend of Zeldaseries who are wondering whether one of the most polarizing entries in the franchise will make it's way to the Nintendo Switch. ![]()
